Retrieving your API Key

AudioEye's API authenticates requests using account keys. You can retrieve and manage your API account key in the AudioEye portal.

1. Log into your AudioEye portal account.
2. Click on the account menu in the top right and select the My Account menu item.
3. Expand the API Key section on the My Account page and click on the Generate API Key button. 
4. Once complete click on the Copy API Key button to copy the key to your clipboard.
   
   Note: If you want to replace your API key with a new one you can use the Generate a new API Key button. This will replace your existing key, and your existing API integrations will need to be updated to use the new key.

This key can now be used to facilitate AudioEye API requests. 

These credentials can grant access to functionality within your account; be sure to keep them secure. DO NOT share them, or embed them in a public webpage.
