Scan: The Builder's scanning technology identifies accessibility errors for your website. All scans and their parameters are based directly on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines' (WCAG) Success Criteria. The scan uses WCAG 2.1 Level-AA to identify issues and errors.
Analyze: The Builder tracks the overall accessibility health of your website by identifying Passing and Problem items.
- Passing items means that the automated scanner did not find issues with the elements it scanned.
- Problems are errors and risks that our scanner has tagged as likely barriers for some users on the site.
With this information, the Builder identifies the list of errors, which WCAG guideline our scans identified for that particular error, and the ability to build a remediation - or fix - for those errors.
Accessibility Impact Score: A site's Accessibility Impact Score is a 0 - 100 score ranking your sites accessibility health, with 100 being the best. We calculate your score using an algorithm that weighs the impact of your site's current accessibility risks. If you have a low Accessibility Impact Score, that's an indication that there's a significant impact to the end user, and these errors should be addressed.
Remediate: There are two ways a user can resolve accessibility issues using the Builder:
- Quick Fixes: This type of fix is done directly within the Builder window and requires no programming knowledge.
