The Legal Action Response Plan
The Legal Action Response Plan (formerly the STAR Plan) is used as a response to a legal claim demonstrating compliance efforts with accessibility regulations. This plan is available to all customers utilizing the AudioEye® Platform to continuously monitor for accessibility issues and deliver accessibility fixes to their sites. It encompasses four key components: Sustain, Test, Analyze, and Remediate.
The Legal Action Response Plan involves continuously maintaining web accessibility through:
- ongoing monitoring and updates,
- regular testing to identify accessibility issues
- reviewing test results to understand and prioritize issues, and
- implementing necessary fixes to resolve accessibility problems.
This approach allows organizations to achieve web accessibility, delivering accessible digital content for all users, regardless of their abilities.
How can the Legal Action Response Plan be used?

- Understanding an organization’s legal protection options to report accessibility compliance status to leadership;
- Helping customer experience and marketing teams accurately explain the accessibility measures being taken by and on behalf of the organization to protect brand image and respond appropriately to accessibility inquiries or complaints;
