An Accessibility Statement is standardized messaging provided by AudioEye that informs your website visitors about your digital inclusion efforts. The Accessibility Statement is typically deployed within your website’s main navigation or footer.
AudioEye provides an accessibility certification that validates the website’s commitment to digital inclusion, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and ADA-related laws.
It provides website owners with a consistent stamp of approval from a reliable, third-party accessibility authority. An accessibility statement shows your commitment to providing an accessible experience to your site visitors. With AudioEye, you can create an accessibility statement customized to your website.
To add the Accessibility Statement to your website, please follow these steps:
- Create or select a webpage where you want to add your statement. We recommend linking that page to the main or footer menu.
- Log into the AudioEye portal and navigate to your site’s dashboard.
- Activate the “Site Settings” side menu item.
- Activate “Legal Templates” from the options provided.
- Select the second tab, “Accessibility Statement.”
- Activate “Copy HTML”.
- Paste the code in the HTML body of your accessibility page or follow the embed instructions provided by your content management system (CMS).
